Woods Equine Wellness aims to empower horse owners to respond and care for their equine in an emergency. Unfortunately for our equine friends it isn’t a question of if but a question of when they will get hurt. We want every horse owner to feel empowered to act and give their equine the best chance of survival and give their vet the best possible conditions to work with!

Woods Equine Wellness aims to empower horse owners to ensure the wellness of their equine is upheld.
We offer first aid courses to every level of equine enthusiast from the first time horse owner to the seasoned riding coach. Courses are eligible for a reduction of insurance premiums, professional development points and more! Our courses give owners confidence when dealing with an emergency situation while also allowing them to advocate for their horse in times of need.
We hope to see more facilities with equine first aid certified staff. Confidence and composure is key when dealing with an equine emergency and sometimes the emotions are too high for the owner to be fully able to manage the situation. This is where calm and educated barn staff can be so effective in helping to give the equine the best chance. Facilities interested in hosting are eligible for up to two free spots if they meet the minimum participation requirement that can be used for staff or for your own knowledge as the facility owner.
